Weddings at St. John’s UCC

We are pleased that you are considering St. John’s United Church of Christ for your wedding ceremony.   The essence of marriage is a commitment that has its foundation in the faithfulness of God’s love.  The marriage ceremony is a joyful occasion on which two people unite in the mutual  exchange of covenant promises before God, the Pastor and the gathered congregation.   If you wish to have your wedding ceremony at St. John’s UCC our pastor must officiate.

Make an appointment with the Pastor.  
The first step in planning your wedding ceremony is to make an appointment with our pastor.  At this meeting, the specific wedding date will be arranged and placed on the church calendar.  Weddings will not be scheduled on national holidays or Christian holy days.  This first meeting should take place at least four months in advance of your proposed wedding date.

Fees and Honoraria:
Members of St. John’s UCC:

The Building Usage fees must be paid at time of reservation and are refundable up to two weeks prior to wedding date.   The remaining fees are due two weeks prior to the day of the wedding.
